Rama is a complete benevolent human being and wonderful to know!

I had been plagued with an awful case of consistent headaches for months, so painful I was completely debilitated for up to three days a week. I visited my primary doctor at least 7 times for tests and numerous prescriptions from allergy medication to migraine to severe pain-Nothing worked.

A good friend of mine told me about Rama (actually raved), I was a bit skeptical and a tad nervous about the needles and unsure of the process. Realizing it could not be worse than the pain I was troubled with. So, I made the call and told her about my ailment she fit me into her schedule that day. During my first visit (at which time I was extremely late and anxious new to Austin and got lost)we spent time together and talked. During our conversation I realized Rama was not just interested in the current challenge I was experiencing, she wanted to work with the full aspect of health issues for my total wellbeing. I included that I was on anti-depressants (which is embarrassing to me), and Rama exuded compassion and care, I felt at ease and without judgment.

My first treatment was bewildering I felt greatno headache. I thought it was magic! That weekend I had an anxiety attack and called Rama, thinking I would just leave a message, and she not only answered she saw me that weekend! Rama and I have done incredible work together to get me on a totally healthy path. I have learned that acupuncture and holistic therapies do create some temporary ebbs and flows, we arent static creatures. Throughout our visits the consistent headaches have gone, I do get minor ones that are gone with some select herbs and tea, or essential oils. Rama is like a really great friend, empathic, trustworthy and truly kind, without judgment. For anyone reading this, yes it is a glowing recommendation for Rama she is a complete benevolent human being and wonderful to know.

She helped our WHOLE family!

I first heard Rama Chittajallu on People's health talk show. She was explaining her approach to her acupuncture treatments. I decided to go see her for some problems I was having. She helped me so much that I also got my daughter who had been in an auto accident and my husband who was having elbow pain go see her. She helped my whole family!

Her calm, caring approach was coupled with her expertise and knowledge of her discipline. I would highly recommend her to anyone with a wide variety of problems. I am thankful to her for how much she has helped me and my family. I will continue to use her as needed. Just knowing she is available to support us with our health care needs is very reassuring. Thank you Rama!

For 10 years I had chronic stomach problems partly because of the thinking I had that vegetarianism was the healthy way to go. Every time I ate I was worried that I would have an episode. Then I met Rama. She explained to me that my diet was too cold and too raw. I did not really understand her Chinese Medicine concepts but I trusted her and gradually started implementing her dietary suggestions. What a change a few simple changes made!!! She also put me on some herbs to tonify my digestive system and to this day I do no have to worry if there is a restroom nearby! Thank You Rama

Amazing Results!

Hi my name is Kyle and I am a pharmacist and boy, do I feel like a pill-pusher now. I was in town visiting and started developing a stye on my eye. My friend told me about a strange custom of acupuncture to stop that in its tracks and advised me to see a local acupuncturist called Rama. And was it magical!!! There are no medications to stop the progression. She told me to reduce the heat in my body to prevent recurrence, and I have not had one since. It is amazing that a few simple dietary changes can have such significant impact on a person's health. Not only did my stye issue disappear forever but my mood improved as well. Erectile Dysfunction

Weight Loss

I went in to see Rama because I wanted to lose weight. I had heard of her through a friend who had gone to her to control her obsessive thinking and other behaviors.

Rama has a special treatment she does using auricular stimulation. Not only did my appetite go down, but my interest in food disappeared. I could take it or leave it. She explained to me that this was the time to train the body to eat right. Also, my mood improved and the ability to deal with stresses. Rama is a wonderful and giving person. I do not know of any acupuncturist who offers free treatments to our men and women returning from the war. God bless her.
